What is SEG?

What is SEG?
SEG stands for “Silicone Edge Graphics”. All SEG is fabric. What makes them silicone edged is the silicone strip that is sewn around the perimeter of the fabric graphic. SEG fabric graphics are custom-printed, edge to edge. Our SEG print process is dye sublimation via a paper transfer process which allows for greater color pop.

Another thing to know is that SEG has a special frame for that silicone edging. When an SEG frame is set up, the fabric appears taut like a drum with a high end professional appeal. To achieve this look, the inside perimeter of the frames have a recessed groove in which the silicone edging, (or some call silicone beading or keter), is installed. All it takes is a simple push of your fingers around all four corners and sides.

The frame, aluminum and lightweight, is very thin from a straight and direct point of view, but from a side angle, the frame thickness can vary from 40 mm up to 120 mm. The overall width and height of an SEG frame can vary as well from as small as 2ft to as large as 30ft. The size variance of an SEG frame system allows for design versatility and customization for any retail space.

And because of its custom nature, there are accessories that allow for a toolless setup, wall mounting, hanging or free-standing options. Frames are easily reusable and graphics are easily changeable. SEG is a great option that can grow with you as your marketing campaigns change, making it cost-effective as well over the long run.
